Australian Six Month Tourist Visa

If you wish to travel to Australia for a longer trip (over 90 days) you will need to apply for an Australian long stay tourist visa (6 month tourist visa).

Your Australian six month tourist visa will allow you to stay in Australia for up to 6 months from the day you first enter.

The cost of a six month Australian tourist visa is $221.00 USD.

Your Australian long stay tourist visa is valid for 12 months from the date of issue, and allows multiple entry.

This mean you can leave and re-enter Australia as many times as you want during this 12 month period, however you can only stay up to six months per visit.

To be eligible for an Australian six month holiday visa you must agree with the following conditions:

Your trip should be for the purpose of tourism. Working is strictly prohibited.
You must be able to provide evidence of funds to cover your stay in Australia.
You can not study for more than 3 months while in Australia.*

* If you intend to study for longer than 4 weeks in Australia you may be required to undergo a chest X-Ray examination.
